Meredith started as director in June 2026.  Meredith has been a member of WAMM since 2011 and has served on the WAMM board.  She is a member of the WAMM Palestine Solidarity and Hands Off Latin America committees.  

Meredith has been involved in anti-war and international solidarity activism since 1994 when she returned from her study abroad program in Central America.  She co-founded the MN Anti-War Committee in 1998 and is currently on the steering committee for the Anti War Action Network (which WAMM is a part of). 

Office Manager

Fiona found her way to WAMM in 2018 answering a Volunteer Match ad and found a place for her mission-driven, task-oriented skill set. She also found friends. Fiona has a background working with vulnerable seniors, disabled people, and immigrants. She is the daughter of immigrants herself (Germany and Scotland) who came to the U.S. for better job opportunities in 1959. Her parents raised her to pay back the hospitality they received throughout their lives here. Fiona and Joe have been married 35 years. Some of you have met her daughter Erika and husband Dave at protests. Her other daughter Kendra thrives in the cold, building Ice Castles, Nordic skiing, camping and canoeing.  And if you mention dogs, Fiona will talk your ear off about Klaus – the current doggo.

Mary first became actively involved with WAMM during the Sanctions Period on Iraq when she joined the Twin Cities Peace Campaign-Focus Iraq. Subsequently, she joined the WAMM staff and served as its director through 2009. Prior to this, she had a decades-long career in communications, editing and writing, and worked as a volunteer in a variety of peace and justice movements.Today, she is active in WAMM and a member of the End War Committee, Middle East Committee and Newsletter Committee.
