Walk to Ban Nuclear Weapons; Walk to End the Madness
Since the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons was agreed upon by 122 member states of the UN on July 7, 2017, 70 countries have signed it and 21 have ratified it. Once 50 nations ratify the treaty, it will become international law. On July 7, 2017, the U.S. issued a statement that read “We do not intend to sign, ratify or ever become party to it.” But the people of the U.S. want a treaty and are working on a grassroots level to make that happen. Support MN Senate Files 84 and 344 and MN House File 460, which call for new nuclear weapons policies. And join us in the walk against these horrendous weapons. Now is the time to speak out and take action!
