The Labor Movement and the Fight for Housing Equity

  • East Side Freedom Library 1105 Greenbrier St Saint Paul, Minnesota 55106 (map)

This panel discussion, featuring leaders from the labor movement and from community organizations, sits at the intersection of two ESFL projects:

1. Exploration of the labor movement's relationships with social movements, a series co-sponsored by New Brookwood Labor College, the University of Minnesota Labor Education Service, and Metro State University's Masters in Policy and Leadership program

2. Exploration of "Closing the Housing Gap," a community discussion of racism and equity in housing, particularly here on the East Side, co-sponsored by ABC Realty, in collaboration with Dayton's Bluff Housing Services, MICAH, and other community organizations.
