Second Monday Movie - "National Bird"

National Bird follows the dramatic journey of three whistleblowers determined to break the silence around the secret U.S. drone war, which has been waged globally for more than a decade. The use of drones has transformed modern warfare, but drone missions are highly classified, and there are no official counts of military or civilian casualties. The film gave rare insight into the program through the eyes of veterans and survivors, examining the complexities of drone warfare from a human perspective and exploring the difficult circumstance faced by military personnel involved with combat drones. While it may be true that drone operators do not sustain battlefield injuries, their psychological wounds may be substantial, often leading to suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Connecting the dots. Lively discussion follows.
