WAMM Second Monday Movie - "The U.S., Guantanamo, and Cuba: 119 years of U.S. Occupation" featuring film - "All Guantanamo is Ours"

Documentary Film, All Guantanamo Is Ours, directed by Colombian journalist and writer Hernando Calvo Ospina, this short film shows the feeling of the Cuban people, especially the people of Guantanamo, in relation to the occupied territory.

The evening's program includes a discussion of the role of the U.S. occupation of Guantanamo and the opposition expressed by the Cuban people to continued U.S. occupation as well as current U.S. policy in Cuba. 

Joe Callahan, Minnesota Cuba Committee member, who has visited Cuba nine times since 1982, will share updated information on U.S. Cuba policy under the Trump administration and lead a discussion. In May 2017, Joe attended the Fifth International Seminar of Peace and for the Abolition of Foreign Military Bases, which was held in Guantanamo, Cuba.
